Podbean | What's the Difference between Subscriber and Feed Hits?
Modified on: Thu, 2 Mar, 2017 at 11:58 PM
If a user subscribes to your podcast in the Podbean directory, it will be accurately counted as a subscriber. However, if a user subscribes to your podcast in iTunes or other podcast retrieval software, those won't shown as your subscribers. You can use the Feed-hits to estimate the number of subscribers on various platforms. The feed-hits number is generally used by Google to represent the subscriber number, but to avoid user confusion, we changed the word "subscriber" to "feed-hits" to reflect what the number really is.
