It’s easy to move your PodOmatic podcast over to Podbean.

After you create a Podbean account, simply go to “Publish” in your Podbean dashboard and click on “Import RSS”. You will enter your PodOmatic feed url there and the tool will automatically begin migrating your podcasts (titles and text will migrate immediately, audio and video files will take about 15-30 minutes to load).

If you already have an RSS feed with an active show set up in iTunes and are migrating to Podbean, you will need to update the feed iTunes is pulling from so that they pull from your new Podbean feed. Here are the steps you should take to update your feed and subscribers:

1. Set up a redirect in Podomatic. According to this article, Podomatic only offers 301 redirects for Pro Users. Contact Podomatic to find out more. The feed will need to be modified to include the following tag (Make sure to replace "yourPodbeanSubdomain" with your actual Podbean account subdomain.):

<itunes:new-feed-url>http://yourPodbeanSubdomain.podbean.com/feed</itunes:new-feed-url>

We recommend keeping your old feed/site in place for a few weeks to ensure all subscribers have moved across.
