You can add private members in a batch by uploading a .txt file with one email per line.
We will detect if an email is registered with a Podbean account. If so, the user can use his original Podbean account and password to login as a private member. If not, we will create a Podbean account and password for the user and he will receive an email with the login information.
A sample file for batch adding members’ emails can be found here.
Or you can set default passwords for your private members yourself. Just enter the password after the email for each line. Please see the example file here.
Batch uploading private members and assigning into groups:
If you purchased the Group option, you can assign private members into groups and give them permissions to access the podcast channels that are in associated with the groups.
Important! You should create the groups before you batch add members for groups. Private members cannot be assigned to non-existent groups.
In the .txt file, add the [Group Name, Group Name2, Group Name3 ] after the email for each line. Separate multiple group names with commas. Please see the example file here.
You can also set default passwords for your private members with groups. Please see the example file here.
