1. Join Ad Marketplace

Step 1: Sign into your account at https://sponsorship.podbean.com/podcasters, go to the “Podcasts” page where lists your podcast feed. Click on "Join Ad Marketplace" to get ad opportunities.

Step 2: Under “Ad Settings” on the same page, you can choose certain types of products/services you don’t want advertised on your podcast. Ads will automatically run in your podcast, with the exception of ads in the categories you’re opted out of.

2. Set Ad Time Slot

After joining the ad marketplace, all you need to do is set the ad time slots for your podcast. The default setting is for pre-roll and post-roll ads to be inserted at the beginning and end of each episode (before and after your audio content). Don’t forget to set the mid-roll time slot which is a high-value ads position.

For detailed info about how to set ad time slots, please refer to set the ad time slots for your podcast.

3. Manage Campaign

Once your podcast is selected by an advertiser to run their campaign, you will be able to view the campaign details, targeted GEO, and listen to the ads in the "Ads" page.

Your podcast is opt-in the ads that match your preference by default. You can also opt out of an ad campaign anytime you want.

4. View Advertising Stats

Once the campaign is running, you will see how much you’ve earned and the ad impressions. Click on “Dashboard” to view the detailed information about how the ads were served in your podcast.
