You can start livestreaming on the Podbean app in a few minutes by following these simple steps. (Please create your Podbean account first.)

1. Prepare for Your Livecast
Before your live show, you should prepare and test your equipment for livestreaming within your budget to make sure you can live stream with the best sound quality. We recommend you always use a headset or headphones and a microphone.
You can also use Focusrite to live stream.
2. Start Livecast
Log into your Podbean account, click the red Record button-->Start Livecast button. Enter your live show information, click the Create button.
3. Invite Co-host
Input your co-hosts' email or click the Invite button on the invitation list to invite your co-hosts.
Note: You can also invite co-hosts in the live room by clicking the person icon.
4. Interact with Listeners
You can begin speaking using your mic, and send text messages/emojis to your listeners by clicking the text icon/emoji icon.
5. Enable/Disable Listener Call-in
Click the menu icon-->Allow call-in button to enable/disable listener call in. You can also click the microphone icon to mute/unmute your live show.
6. View/Block Listener
Click the profile photo of your listener in the chat section, then block the listener, add as admin, or view his/her profile.
7. Add Audio Effects
Click the music icon-->click the Effects button, then click the effects icon to add various audio effects.
8. Add Background Music
Click the music icon-->click the Background Music button, then click the "+Add Music" button to add background music. On the Add background music page, click “+” button to directly add background music, click the Upload Music button to add external audio files. You can select the play mode, and adjust the volume of the background music on the mini player.
9. Share Livecast
Click the Share icon to promote your live show on social media.
10. End Livecast
Click the Exit icon-->click the Yes button to end your live show. After you finish your live show, you can check the run time of your live show, your PodPoints earned, participants, and new followers.
