Super Chat and the @ feature are useful engagement tools for your listeners to further connect and interact in Podbean Live. They can help strengthen the social experience, so you may want to remind your community about them and encourage them to engage. Listeners can purchase Super Chats to highlight their messages. They can also use the @ feature to mention or respond to someone in the live chat. 

Sending a Super Chat

Listeners can send a super chat by following the below steps:

1. Click the super chat icon next to the message box at the bottom.

2. Input the message-->click the Buy and Send button.

Note: Each super chat will cost 7 Golden Beans (Podbean’s virtual currency). After sending a super chat, listeners/the host can click the profile at the top of live chat to view it.

Mentioning/Responding to Someone

1. Listeners can mention/respond to someone by:

Clicking someone’s profile photo-->clicking the @ icon to mention them in the live chat.

2. Host starting livestream on the web, they can mention/respond to someone by:

Clicking someone’s profile photo-->clicking the @ icon to mention them in the live chat.

The mentioned user will see their username highlighted in the live chat, which makes it easy for them to notice the message and reply.
