Podbean’s "Generate audio-only feed" feature automatically creates an audio-only version of your video podcast feed, allowing you to submit your podcast to Spotify, Amazon Music, and other third-party platforms or directories that don't accept video podcasts.
Your original video feed remains unchanged.
With this feature enabled, you can:
- Get a separate audio-only feed with its own URL, generated automatically from your video episodes — no manual conversion needed.
- Distribute your audio podcast to third-party platforms or directories that don't accept video podcasts, while still delivering HLS video streams to platforms like Apple Podcasts.
How to Generate an Audio-Only Feed
- Go to Dashboard → Settings → Feed.
- Find Generate audio-only feed and turn it on.
Once enabled, Podbean will generate an audio-only feed and display its URL below the setting.

How play statistics work:
Plays of episodes distributed through the audio-only feed are counted toward the corresponding original video episodes.
